Aviation Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation with a proven track record of successfully managing aviation projects from initiation to completion. As an Aviation Project Manager you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of aviationrelated projects meeting project goals timelines and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans including scope objectives deliverables resource allocation and timelines for aviationrelated projects.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including aviation industry experts engineers technicians and clients to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Management: Identify and proactively manage risks and issues associated with aviation projects developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.

Budget Control: Monitor project budgets and expenses ensuring that aviation projects are executed within the allocated financial resources.

Resource Allocation: Allocate aviation project resources including personnel equipment and materials to meet project objectives efficiently.

Quality Assurance: Ensure aviation projects adhere to industry standards and regulations maintaining a high level of quality and safety.

Progress Tracking: Regularly track project progress provide status reports and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.

Change Management: Handle changes in project scope objectives or requirements assessing their impact and implementing modifications as needed.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation including plans reports and records in compliance with aviation industry standards and company policies.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within aviation project management practices and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Aviation Management Engineering Business Administration or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.

Proven experience in aviation project management with a minimum of 8 years in aviationrelated projects.

Strong knowledge of aviation industry regulations and best practices.

Excellent communication leadership and team collaboration skills.

Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Asana JIRA).

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.

Flexibility to travel as needed for aviation project assignments.
