Registered Nurse Nights - Newcastle

Medsolve are delighted to be working in partnership with a wellrespected residential and nursing care service who provide a range of care and support services for residents.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to join their team at based in Newcastle upon Tyne on a permanent basis. Please not we do NOT offer sponsorship.

Duties of a Nurse are varied and no two days will be the same. However as a general guide duties will include:

Supervise motivate and lead all care staff / Clinical Support Assistants
Actively assist in all aspects of each resident s care.
Practice confident clinical judgements
Establish individual care for each resident by the thorough assessment of needs and planning of care
Enable the participation of the resident and relative or their representative to ensure care is personalised and evaluated on a regular basis
Ensure the care team maintain accurate records of resident care
Liaising with the wider multidisciplinary teams who also play an integral part in ensuring a high standard of care to our residents is an important responsibility for this role

Qualified Registered Nurse with a valid PIN
Knowledge of national standards and the NMC code of practice
A background in personcentred care planning
The delivery of a high standard of care in a nursing home setting would be advantageous
