Controller

This is a remote position.

The Controller is responsible for all financial reporting accounting and internal control for the business and directly supervise supporting financial staff in accordance with company policy and accounting practices.

Essential Job Functions

• All accounting functions including maintenance of Company books and records financial statement preparation and distribution overhead cost review management cash management budgeting and financial projections accounting policies and procedures
  
• Oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  
• Monitor the implementation of strategic business plans
  
• Manage the budgeting process
  
• Developing and training of accounting and administrative staff
  
• Provide support in the monthly preparation of applicable Forecasts.
  
• Provide support in the annual preparation of applicable Budgets.
  
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures and to accounting systems.
  
• Oversight of Human Resources related to Payroll compensation benefits administration employee relations and policy/procedure development Annual review of benefit packages to ensure competitive pricing etc.
  

Requirements

• High level of analytical ability.
  
• Strong process management skills.
  
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
  
• Advanced level experience with QuickBooks Online Excel Power Point and Word.
  
• Ability to work independently on projects.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  
• Proven experience in driving continuous improvement and quality.
  

Education and Experience

• Bachelor s Degree in accounting or business
  
• CPA a plus.
  
• Minimum of four (4) years experience in accounting and finance
