The Business Analyst will be the vital link between information technology capacities and business objectives. The successful candidate will support and ensure the successful completion of analytical building testing and deployment tasks of the software products features. Duties include but may not be limited to:
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit requirements via interviews document analyses requirements workshops storyboards surveys site visits business process descriptions use cases and various analysis techniques.
Craft detailed requirement specifications in standard templates articulated clearly and concisely ensuring the use of natural language and the representation of requirements through different views when necessary.
Break down highlevel business and user requirements into functional requirements with an appropriate level of detail for implementation.
Identify current and future business processes defining quality attributes external interfaces constraints and other nonfunctional requirements.
Lead the analysis and verification of requirements assuring completeness consistency clarity comprehension traceability feasibility unambiguity and conformance to standards.
Handle requirements prioritization and mediate the negotiation of requirements among multiple stakeholders.
Document business requirements and required data delivering work products throughout the project life cycle.
Coordinate business validation processes to ensure that business processes function as intended.
Assist product managers or project sponsors in documenting the products vision and project scope.
Contribute to peer reviews and inspections of requirement documents and derived work products to verify accurate interpretation of requirements.
Manage the traceability of requirements and monitor their status throughout the duration of the project.
Provide ongoing knowledge transfers to ensure continuity and understanding among stakeholders and team members.
Five (5) years of proven experience as a Business Analyst.
One (1) year of experience employing remote collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams Skype SharePoint etc.
Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
Comprehensive experience with all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with various project methodologies both Waterfall and Agile and the ability to apply them as needed.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to create accurate and detailed functional requirements documents including but not limited to user stories diagrams process flows RACI charts etc.
Ability to work in a teamoriented collaborative environment.
Excellent interpersonal collaborative oral and written communication skills
Ability to write technical business and plain language documents and/or emails with great attention to detail in all written communications.
Bachelor s Degree in Business Information Technology Computer Science or a related area. Required
