Production Head Steel Casting

• 15 Years of experience in Production
• Prior experience in Casting Industry (Steel or others)
• Leadership qualities. Currently working as a Manager

• Lead and direct the Production Function strategy by consolidating different functional strategies in line with the business strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing functional strategies across the Castings.
• Ensure that functional strategy and related strategic plans are developed and implemented which are aligned with the vision and mission of Castings.
• Oversee and recommend the budget for the Production department. Monitor Financial performance versus the budget to track cost and performance. Identify potential areas for cost reduction and opportunities for improvement capitalized.

• Leads and directs all foundry operations to meet the performance goals of the company and department and appropriate delegation of responsibilities to the personnel aligned to the role.
• Collaborate with the area Head to plan the departmental workflow to achieve short and longterm goals established by senior management.
• Establish production schedules for monthly weekly and daily and plan for the resource allotment.
• Monitors production schedules across melting moulding heat treatment & fettling areas
• Participates in the qualification process of new contractors/vendors and selection of shop floor personnel.
• Identifies and evaluates production practice changes.
• Collaborates with internal customers gets involved in resolving departmental issues and resolves complaints in a timely and effective manner.

• Ensures compliance with all relevant quality management procedures including ISO standards and controls across various projects and systems to guarantee compliance and delivery of highquality production.
• Conducts meetings regularly and implements various quality control programs to reach the required standards defined
• Provide relevant support and assistance to the department teams in auditing all prescribed standards highlighting anomalies and suggesting corrective actions.
• Manages the development and implementation of Health & Safety strategies and plans in order to ensure a healthy work environment in compliance with the goals and objectives.
• Develop the Health & Safety policies procedures and systems in compliance with all relevant quality standards and procedural/ legislative requirements.
• Keeps abreast of any changes in related laws and regulations that impact the H&S initiatives driven by the function.

• Ensures Key Performance Indicators and goals are set for all employees of the department and implementation of the company s performance management process.
• Manage the team members by evaluating their performance providing feedback on an ongoing basis identifying development needs and coaching them to ensure capability development.
• Schedules and coordinates necessary training for all personnel in the department.
• Performs other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Directors / Plant Head in order to meet functional objectives.
