Role and Responsibilities:
The Presales VMware role at Niyati Tech involves providing valuable support to the VMware sales team focusing on identifying and pursuing virtual infrastructure business opportunities within various client portfolios. This position requires the ability to present VMware product features and benefits to different levels of prospects provide strategic vision about the VMware product family evangelize current and future VMware products and technologies and drive the design of customeroriented solutions using VMware. Additionally the role entails establishing positive working relationships proactively seeking out new sales opportunities ensuring the success of customer proofofconcepts (PoCs) and participating in the SE discussion forum. The incumbent should also assume the role of a mentor to other system engineers and create training content for the SE organization when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Present VMware product features and benefits to Managers and Director Level prospects
  • Provide technical and strategic vision about the VMware product family
  • Describe VMware s key messages and vision and discuss key benefits for customers
  • Maintain current knowledge of complete VMware product set and describe key features and benefits of each
  • Establish positive working relationships internal and external
  • Proactively seek out new sales opportunities
  • Evangelize current and future VMware products and technologies with an emphasis on large enterprise deployments and/or vertical solutions
  • Drive the design of customeroriented solutions using VMware
  • Participate on a consistent basis in the SE discussion forum
  • Assume the role of a mentor to other system engineers
  • Create training content for the SE organization

Candidate Qualifications:
Qualification in business or engineering discipline or equivalent training and industry experience
Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency with major server operating systems (UNIX/Linux or Windows Server)
Good understanding of Virtualization concepts and competitive positioning knowledge
Strong understanding of Enterprise technology including SMP servers storage arrays storage networking network protocols and general connectivity in multiplatform enterprise environments
Open systems administration and management technical sales or consulting experience prioritizing and organizing skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills including excellent presentation skills
Fluent in English and Hindi
Demonstrates high ethics and integrity is respected
Willingness to travel at short notice
