Human Centered Solution Research Design Lead

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Human Centered Solution Research & Design Lead will play a critical role in driving innovation and delivering usercentric solutions to address complex challenges. Your expertise in humancentered design research methodologies and problemsolving will be instrumental in driving positive impact for citizens and stakeholders. Duties include but may not be limited to:

Conduct comprehensive user research using various methods such as interviews surveys comparative research and field studies to understand and empathize with users needs preferences and challenges.

Lead ideation and brainstorming sessions bringing innovative solutions to the forefront and fostering a collaborative design environment.

Prototype iterate and test design solutions refining based on user feedback and research findings.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams ensuring a consistent and usercentric approach is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.

Advocate for the end user across all groups emphasizing the importance of user needs usability accessibility and overall satisfaction.

Manage multiple projects concurrently ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards.

Coordinate and facilitate workshops design sprints and collaborative sessions to drive solution development and decisionmaking processes.

Analyze research findings user feedback and data to identify patterns trends and actionable insights.

Synthesize complex information into meaningful recommendations and usercentric design solutions.

Maintain and share research documentation including user personas journey maps and design rationales

Lead and mentor a team of researchers designers and other professionals to foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous learning.

Provide guidance support and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Provide knowledge transfer.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in humancentered design solution research or user experience design preferably in the public sector or related industry.

Proven experience in UX research methodologies and humancentered design principles and best practices.

Proven experience in leading endtoend solution design projects from user research to prototyping and evaluation.

A portfolio that demonstrates a thorough understanding of the usercentered design process.

Ability to seamlessly transition between research and design thinking with a knack for transforming insights into actionable design solutions.

Proficiency in research methodologies such as interviews surveys usability testing and data analysis

Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Sketch InVision or Figma.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups and build consensus.

Strong analytical empathy and communication skills.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor s degree in HumanComputer Interaction Design Cognitive Psychology or a related field.
