Our client is a company developing automotive software products who are seeking PICK U2 Developer to join their team.
Reporting to the Developer Team Lead your primary focus will be to design write review test and maintain computer programs based on customers business requirements and systems or application demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain uptodate knowledge on industry standard Development practice.
- Undertake programming tasks that provide a structured framework for Pentana Solutions applications.
- Undertake programming tasks including but not limited to the design coding testing and
- documentation of applications and database software.
- Undertake programming tasks that enable automatic regression testing.
- Analyse and modify the maintenance of programs and procedures as needed.
- Provide a high level of customer and technical support to clients both internally and externally.
- Prepare documents detailing the design operations troubleshooting and maintenance of
- applications as well as all related technical documentation.
- Assist in testing and bug fixing as required including approval of incident rejections.
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent
- UniVerse or Unidata or PICK basic background
- Working experience within an Agile Scrum environment
- Demonstrated experience with primary development toolset (e.g. JavaScript Universe HTML CSS) Working knowledge and experience with
- prevalent web browsers
- Working knowledge of the waterfall SDLCs
- Working knowledge of a variety of operating systems particularly Windows and Redhat Linux.
