Credit Risk Analyst

Tasks

Within the Credit Risk Analyst team in the Risk Department the selected candidate will be a key element in implementing credit policies and maintaining the quality of counterparty risks.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough analyses of credit applications and reviews (for both companies and highprofile individuals) in line with the groups credit policies.
• Making decisions on the approval and/or review of these applications within their delegations or issuing recommendations (in the form of notes) if the case exceeds their delegations.
• Participating in the presentation of cases in the Credit Committee.
• Carrying out credit risk monitoring tasks: tracking overdrafts and overdues detecting/qualifying and monitoring sensitive clients (watch list forbearance defaults etc.).
• Advising commercial teams in structuring credit applications.
• Contributing to the dissemination of a credit culture both within the Risk Department (supporting junior analysts) and with the Front Office.
• Assisting the Team Leader in crossfunctional missions related to the credit domain (organization credit policy strategy etc.).

Requirements

• University Degree in Finance Economics Banking or related
• At least 6 years of experience in a similar position within Banking
• Knowledge of banking products and services (especially corporate lending ideally highend individual lending) and a good understanding of banking regulations concerning credit.
• Financial analysis of companies (especially SMEs) and credit structuring; knowledge of accounting tax and legal matters.
• Analytical skills strong written and synthesis abilities.
• Proficiency in oral presentations.
• Fluent in English and French
