Join our team as a Technical SEO Specialist and become an integral part of our mission to enhance the performance and visibility of our Ling website. You will take charge of our WordPress websites technical SEO aspects ensuring it ranks higher in search engines and offers an exceptional user experience. Your primary responsibilities will include optimizing page speed improving Core Web Vitals implementing internal linking strategies and regularly collaborating with external developers to address SEO issues.
Responsibilities
1. Page Speed Optimization:
- Conduct thorough audits using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights to identify and rectify page speed issues.
- Implement technical optimizations to enhance page load times and overall website performance.
- Collaborate closely with web developers to address serverside and frontend performance bottlenecks.
2. Core Web Vitals Enhancement:
- Analyze and assess Core Web Vitals metrics to gauge user experience.
- Develop and execute strategies to elevate Core Web Vitals scores aiming for better search engine rankings and user satisfaction.
3. Internal Link Building:
- Collaborate with our SEO Content Marketers to audit the existing internal linking structure.
- Formulate an effective internal linking strategy to improve website navigation user engagement and SEO value.
- Coordinate with the SEO team to incorporate relevant internal links into new and existing content.
4. Technical Issue Resolution:
- Identify and troubleshoot technical SEO issues that may impact website performance indexability and crawlability.
Requirements
- Proven track record as an SEO expert with a focus on technical SEO page speed optimization and Core Web Vitals improvement.
- Indepth understanding of SEO principles algorithms and ranking factors.
- Strong knowledge of HTML CSS JavaScript and web development concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with WordPress
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely managing your time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Search Console Google PageSpeed Insights.
- Good project management and organizational skills
- Screaming Frog knowledge is a plus
