Junior Mechanical Technician - Oil and Energy Sector

We are looking for motivated Junior Mechanical Technicians to join our team for a refinery shutdown project in Serbia.

This role is essential for supporting the mechanical operations and maintenance within the refinery.

The ideal candidates will have a foundational experience in the Oil and Gas Refinery sector and a keen interest in mechanical systems.

Tasks

• Assist in the maintenance troubleshooting and repair of refinery mechanical equipment.
• Support the implementation of mechanical maintenance plans and schedules.
• Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with senior mechanical technicians and engineers in complex maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Document maintenance activities and report on issues encountered.
• Participate in training sessions and seek opportunities for professional development.
• Provide support in the installation and testing of new mechanical equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in the Oil and Gas Refinery sector.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment used in refineries.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the mechanical field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Must be a citizen of the European Union or legally authorized to work in Serbia.
• Ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a team.
