Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Property Manager in all aspects of property management, including leasing, marketing, tenant relations, and maintenance.
  • Manage rent collection and delinquencies, ensuring timely collections and following up on late payments.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving any issues to the satisfaction of both the tenant and the company.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and monitor expenses to ensure they align with budgeted amounts.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance work, ensuring quality and timely completion.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements to property operations.
  • Assist with the screening and selection of new tenants, ensuring they meet the company's leasing criteria.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all property-related information, including leases, contracts, and tenant files.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and property management software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem solver with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
