MRI Tech - Evening

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our Radiology / Cardiology team. As an MRI Tech in our facility you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in both radiology and cardiology settings. Key Responsibilities:

• MRI Procedures:
  • Perform highquality MRI scans according to established protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Cardiology Imaging:
  • Assist in cardiologyrelated imaging procedures including MRI angiograms and cardiac MRI scans.
  • Collaborate with the cardiology team to achieve optimal imaging results.
• Patient Care:
  • Provide clear instructions to patients before and during imaging procedures.
  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions and provide appropriate care.
• Equipment Operation:
  • Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and address equipment issues as needed.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of MRI scans and cardiology procedures.
  • Adhere to documentation standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Experience in performing MRI scans and cardiology imaging

Skills:

• Proficiency in MRI imaging techniques
• Familiarity with cardiologyrelated MRI procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
