Job Description
Education and Training: It is preferable to have a diploma or certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering or a similar specialty. Work experience is sometimes an acceptable alternative.
Poultry Experience: Previous experience working within poultry farms or similar agricultural industries.
Knowledge of farming equipment: Deep understanding of farming equipment used in raising and maintaining poultry, including feeding, irrigation, ventilation and heating systems.
Repair and maintenance skills: The ability to diagnose and repair technical problems in agricultural equipment and devices, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
