Senior Cost Controller

SCOPE:
Lead the development of enterprise architecture deliverables that are required to complete gating.
Creation of functional and technical specifications for systems development, analyze requirements and help project team in solution and technical design.
Work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation in alignment with OPS standards.
DELIVERABLES:
Creation of technical specifications for systems development
Design, implement and work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation inalignment with OPS standards.
Participate in scheduled threat risk assessment with the corporate security office and assist with providing collaterals supporting this activity. Assist in developing risk mitigation reports and other project documentation.
Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance best practice of BI applications and workflow.
Create, define and document the structure and relationships with BI applications, including the identification of re-usable components, quality level metrics, the organization and layering of software, and the determination of interfaces.
Undertake special assignments/sub-projects as assigned.
Create and validate business scenarios and use cases
Produce visual depiction of use cases and process flows; ensure alignment with the program area and associated business architecture, as well as traceability to solution logical and physical architectures.
Create, review, provide input and support of Enterprise Architecture artifacts for all checkpoints as required.
Ensure alignment and adherence to Ministry of Government Services processes and standards.
Support the testing team during system and UAT testing.
Participate in Knowledge transfer

Requirements

Technical Skills:

Expertise in one of the leading cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of DevOps tools and techniques and in-depth technical knowledge of system architectures, including technical, data, application and network architectures.
Expert knowledge of current and complex information technology and information engineering principles, information architecture, data modelling, computer programing concepts/techniques, current development tools/languages and development platforms, leading-edge client/server application development technology such as web based and n-tier, comprehensive understanding of system architectures, technical data, application and network architectures.
Knowledge of information engineering methodologies, tools, techniques, and database management system design, information architecture, data modelling and warehousing concepts and practices.
Expert knowledge of data security and authentication platforms to secure ministry information assets.
Detailed knowledge of server computer technologies, operating systems, application software, commonly used software, networks and technology.
Highly developed technical expertise in data and information management, performance measurement and business intelligence tools.
Demonstrated knowledge of business Intelligence and business Analytics application infrastructure designs and best practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling techniques, and experience working with unstructured data for use by reporting and analytics solutions.

Mandatory Skills :
