Test Engineer

The Test Engineer is responsible for supporting and interacting with the customer test laboratories and support groups to ensure quality and integrity of software and management systems for work requests data collection instrumentation calibration video analysis and scheduling in accordance with customer and industry standards.

What youll do:

• Receive assign and coordinate test plans.
• Monitor Timing:Proposed estimated completion dates for each test open line of communication with requesting engineers on any delays.
• Assist laboratory and customer with test execution.
• Provide link for clear communication between customer and the test lab.
• Perform data processing; create special plots/overlays for customers.
• Posttest evaluation Review all data report any anomalies/test issues ensure correct format is used for reporting ensure high quality of tests.
• Write test report.
• Verify and approve final data packages.
• Assist with development of new test methods.
• Working knowledge of all specifications and equipment evaluate if we can meet customer requirement.
• Support Autolivs Quality and EMS standards (ISO/TS16949 ISO/IEC 17025 ISO 14001 A2LA).
• Participate in Autolivs safety practices and maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain good 5S practices.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance of lab test equipment and tools.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement improvement projects and writing standard work instructions as needed.

Standard work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Some overtime may be required as demanded by workload.

What is required:

• Must have Bachelor of Science Degree inEngineering or related field.
• Must have minimum 1 year of relatedexperience.
• Must have Automotive Testing/Test Requirement experience.
• Must have proven mechanical ability.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
