For our client a multinational company a leader in the food industry we are looking for the PLANT MANAGER ARGENTINA.

Responsibilities:

  • To assure the management and development of the production system in accordance with group guidelines;
  • To pursue safety people development production delivery quality and environment objectives seeking continuous improvement of all the plants KPIs and constantly enhancing the development of sustainable means tools and processes;
  • To define and deploy an effective implementation of the Plant Master Plan;
  • To consistently deploy the group industrial strategic pillars in the site of responsibility and boost the World Class Operations principles such as Continuous Improvement methods such as SDCA JIT VSM and Kaizen
  • To define and implement the budget objectives (labor energy maintenance investments) for the Plant according to Group guidelines and targets;
  • To represent the Group in all possible relations with external entities safeguarding and promoting Corporate equity and reputation;
  • To ensure the respect of production plans agreed at the Group level within defined timing quality planning and costs optimizing the service level;
  • To manage thirdparty manufacturing in order to optimize costs and pursue production plan targets in accordance with the business needs;
  • To assure the best maintenance practices and continuously deploy the group technical standards;
  • To execute production according to defined technical standards and assure the appropriate capabilities for the technological applications;
  • To secure compliance with safety regulation and legislation;
  • To guarantee Human Resources professional development enhancing the plants capabilities in all the key industrial professional families and establishing a positive and highperforming work environment for all levels of employees;
  • To safeguard the plant organization in accordance with the group model aiming to contribute to the development of a global industrial network across the various functions and assuring the appropriate drivers for delivering in a matrix organization;

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; an advanced degree is highly desirable (MBA Masters of Science in an engineering field or related discipline)
  • At least 12 15 years of experience in Operations management preferably in an international environment. A previous experience in Argentina is a strong added value.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role in the Food industry.
  • Implement and ensure Food Safety Regulations and Compliance and Quality standards
  • Past experience in Unionized plants
  • Strong technical background
  • Good knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement Manufacturing methodologies production time and methods and supply processes
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Strategic and longterm vision (Industrial Footprint development)
  • Strong leadership/robustness in people management
  • High communication skills
  • Business acumen good financial knowledge and a clear understanding of a P&L
  • Worldwide (Global Mobility is a highly competitive factor)
