Business Development Executive

£55000 £65000 base salary and bonus earning potential
Remote with business travel

Established since 1971 we are an innovative and forwardthinking familyowned business with a successful product range that includes remanufactured steering hydraulic & manufacturing products manufactured power steering pumps steering columns and hydraulic cylinders and motors.

In line with our strategic growth plan we are looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to win new and profitable business across the UK manufacturing sector by promoting our engineering remanufacturing rework repair and reverse engineering capabilities. Markets that we feel enthusiastic about include defence rail marine offshore construction hydraulics & pneumatics and agricultural – but there are no limits to the scope. Once new customers have been won the role will evolve and develop into managing retaining and growing accounts.

Reporting directly to the Company Directors you will become an influential longterm member of the team evolving and contributing towards our growth strategy whilst enjoying excellent career development opportunities.

The successful candidate will be dynamic autonomous and results driven with a proven track record of achieving significant sales success in competitive environments. Experience of selling technical products or complex aftermarket solutions into any of the target sectors above will be a huge advantage and a complete understanding of remanufacturing precision engineering and manufacturing is essential.

Further Requirements Include:
  • The ability to identify evaluate and select key target areas and then proactively develop new business to achieve significant and increasing sales revenue.
  • A track record of achieving sales results and year on year profitable growth.
  • The ability to deal with customers at all levels from small operators through to senior directors and purchasing teams.
  • Excellent communication written presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Great organisation and planning skills to ensure that time is managed effectively.
  • A highly motivated and proactive selfstarter.
  • Be highly innovative flexible responsive with a high level of initiative.
  • Highly computer literate specifically with Microsoft Office.
  • A full clean driving licence.
