The Staff Pad has partnered with an anesthesia group in Dallas Texas that is seeking a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist will be primarily responsible for processing all payrolls as well as carrying out some of the HR administrative functions to include but not be limited to onboarding/offboarding benefits and compliance management.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary preparer for multiple company payrolls as well as a
    reviewer for other payrolls; Must be familiar with managing multisite payrolls with variable compensation
  • Review and analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy before payroll is
    processed
  • Ensures timely processing of all company payrolls to meet payroll
    deadlines
  • Management of timekeeping system for employees and physicians
  • Update employee changes in the payroll system
  • Maintain electronic filing system of employee records
  • Provide administrative support for the recruiting process
  • Assist with managing onboarding and offboarding procedures for
    employees and physicians
  • Assist with employee benefits management of all insurance programs and
    other employee benefit programs to include enrollment payrollcompliance requirements and employee questions
  • Timely responses and followup to employee questions
  • Assist with maintaining the employee handbook and development of
    company policies as needed
  • Assist with management of the employee retirement program to include
    onboarding / offboarding procedures as well as plan compliance requirements
  • Coordinate employee development plans and performance management with the leadership team
  • Familiar with implementation processes and new client set ups
  • Develop pay processes as needed.
  • Payroll project support as needed


Requirements

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources business or accounting degree.
  • Minimum of 57 years of experience in Payroll
  • Minimum of 3 years in HR
  • Must have experience with BOTH Payroll and HR administration.
  • Progressive experience and responsibility within Payroll and HR functions
  • Preference given to those with Payroll/HR Certifications (APHR PHR SHRM
    certifications etc.)
  • No travel will be required for this position
