Our proprietary Axiomer RNA editing technology platform enables the editing of specific single nucleotides in RNA using the cells own editing machinery. Axiomer RNA editing technology harnesses ADAR (Adenosine Deaminase Acting on RNA) which is machinery present in all human cells to repair GtoA mutations modulate protein and enable protective mutation functions. Axiomer could potentially yield a new class of innovative medicines and treat currently untreatable diseases.

Were currently looking for an Administrative Assistant(fulltime) to join us in our headquarters in Leiden (NL). This broad role includes both higher Management Support as well as handson work to support our daily office operations. You will work together with the Executive Assistant to the CEO and report to the Chief of Staff.

Main responsibilities:

Management Team support:

  • Support the 4 Management Team members located in the Netherlands
  • Agenda/calendar management
  • Help streamline the Management Teams schedules.
  • Draft review and send communications on behalf of Management Team members
  • Organize and prepare for meetings including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Maintain various records and documents for Management Team members

Organization & administration:

  • Interacts professionally with executive assistants of other highlevel executives in other organizations.
  • Arrange and manage internal and external meetings and events including with vendors investors expert physicians consultants and patient advocacy organizations
  • Prepare reports collect and analyze information
  • Manage complex calendars across different time zones meeting arrangements travel registrations and expense reimbursement
  • Manage mail invoices phone email opening purchase orders execution of confidentiality agreements and consulting agreements.

Others:

  • Business travel: arranging travel and accommodation for meetings and conferences around the globe
  • Scheduling and preparing meetings and adhoc events with third parties (e.g. vendors partners authorities) onsite and offsite
  • Administrative tasks (expense reports preparing documents filing copying conference registration visa applications etc)
  • Welcoming visitors
  • Adhoc requests

About you

You can easily make contact on all levels between management scientists and external suppliers.

Job requirements:

  • 35 years of previous experience in a secretarial or assistance role for an international company
  • Organized capable reliable and collaborative individual who will learn to anticipate the executive support required
  • Accurate and qualityminded
  • Flexible and versatile. Ability to pivot and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Experience with MS Office & strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal Dutch is an advantage
  • Officebased 5 days per week.
