We are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Contracts Manager living within commuting distance of Leicester who has experience of providing a grounds maintenance service to a wide range of clients including those from the local authority commercial and industrial sectors

As the Grounds Maintenance Contracts Manager you will be
Responsible for ensuring all maintenance projects are completed on time to budget match contractual specifications meet with both their financial and quality requirements and are completed to the Clients satisfaction and in line with priced expectations
Offering best in sector customer service ensuring all projects are delivered professionally and any remedial works are undertaken quickly and to the clients satisfaction
Ensuring the financial integrity and resource scheduling of all projects by effective resource scheduling and appropriate procurement of goods and services for projects
Responsible for the operational team including inductions appraisals motivating and building a strong team with excellent attention to detail skills
Supporting the senior management and sales teams during pretender meetings and throughout the tender process which could include client facing meetings
Looking at areas within projects that give scope for margin enhancement  Researching and implementing new ways of working to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Completing site specific risk assessments and planning health and safety for all projects
Ensuring the companies quality standards are maintained and that H&S policies and procedures are adhered to on site
Responsible for premobilisation site inspection and surveys including risk assessments and sitespecific instructions
Building a network of reliable subcontractors and suppliers to call on as required regularly reviewing their performance and pricing
Managing equipment machinery and vehicle allocation including servicing and repairs
Promoting the wider Groups service offering to help grow additional revenue streams
To be considered as the Grounds Maintenance Contracts Manager you will need
Operational or Contracts Management experience from within the grounds maintenance sector
To have operationally managed maintenance contracts within the local authority commercial and industrial sectors
Strong leadership and people management skills to be able to develop a hardworking detail orientated team of maintenance professionals who will deliver the maintenance service with both directly employed and subcontracted teams
Commercial awareness an understanding of budgets P&L and new business development
