Job Description

Nonprofit client in the education space hiring for well rounded HR Generalist with payroll experience. This is a fulltime, in office position based in Mountain View. Salary offered is 80-85k DOE along with comprehensive benefits and retirement offerings.

Position Summary:
  • Perform bi-weekly payroll using Paycom for 300 employees
  • Prepare and analyze bi-weekly payroll reports for Accounting
  • Audit 403(b) employee and employer contributions and adjust as necessary following the guidelines
  • Maintain compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments - safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications
  • Hiring Support - Manage postings and collaborate with hiring managers for opening. Lead recruiting process including interviews, offer and onboarding
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist and payroll experience
  • BA Degree required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Nonprofit or education experience highly preferred
