What the role entails

Main responsibilities:

• To support or develop plans for ideations and innovation, particularly around all domains, applications, data, business and technology, to achieve the effective use of Digital assets and IT investment and maximise return on investment.
• Drive innovation and creating customer focused solutions to the business whilst also acting as an internal Subject Matter Expert when it comes to the implementation of new technology.
• Manage projects to implement solutions but also ensure our team s projects are up to date and aligned in the PM solution the business uses, as the PMO lead.
• Deliver SteerCom presentations and project updates to stakeholders and the DI Architect.
• Identify emerging trends and technologies in the market, influence and generate ideas and concepts and align to business strategies.
• Drive innovation and integration of innovative technologies and initiatives into projects and activities within the various business workstreams and departments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, as well as technical and IT teams to ensure the implementation and/or integration of digital solutions as the business requires.
• Be a digital evangelist, championing the use of digital technology, practices, and ideation to engender a digital mindset from the top down.
• Support the DI team in the comms, demos, and promotion of innovative solutions.
• Deliver upskilling programmes to the business with the aim of raising by providing effective and professional training to new colleagues across standard and customised applications and solutions.
• Use appropriate user research methods to understand user needs and insights.
• Create and maintain project documentation, user How to docs and/or videos to support induction courses or upskilling programmes.
• Facilitate and run workshops, with the support of the Innovation Solution Architect, for end users to develop solution designs.
• Act as the user advocate during the research, design and development process and offer implementation suggestions from a user-centred perspective.

What we ask of you

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project/product management, requirements and IT business analysis or related roles.
• Experience in leading projects throughout the full project lifecycle including managing/mitigating risks.
• Proficiency in project management solutions, ideally Asana, or other similar solutions.
• Understanding of Microsoft solutions.
• Ability to create user journeys, to develop business cases and support the design of solutions with architects.
• Facilitating workshops with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrable experience with rapid prototyping using a variety of tools and methods.
• Be able to simplify complex issues, find user central solutions and to help shape our approach, structure, and ways of working
• Ability to improve and develop new processes, procedures, and good practice guidance to meet changing needs
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writing
• Ability to demonstrate troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques
• Good attention to detail and ability to show initiative
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload without supervision
• Experience working for a multi-cultural, global company.
