The Ultrasonographer is expected to perform Ultrasound imaging such as pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging such as deep Doppler and guided interventional procedures such as biopsies and ablations as well as musculoskeletal ultrasound.We are seeking an Ultrasonographer to:Conduct a variety of routine exams and procedures in an OB/GYN ambulatory clinic settingPerform ultrasound imaging including pelvic, obstetrics and guided procedures, endometrial biopsies, sonohysterograms and IUD placements or removals.Performing ultrasounds including uterine lining checks and ovarian follicular monitoringPerform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, and adolescent age groups.Minimum Requirements:Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile). Experience:Two years clinical experience in ultrasound setting. Looking for traveler with fertility and/or extensive OB/GYN experience. Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks). Licensure and Certification:Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in a minimum of two concentrations. RDMS in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Education: Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American - Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS). ReferencesNeeds 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years). Floating:Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Shift: 40 hrs/week, 8 hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. No weekends, no holidays.
