PLM Application Owner

Project duration: 12 months

1. Enovia V6R2013 Application Solution Architect (Remote)

1. Responsible to ensure that the CUSTOMER PLM application accomplishes the CUSTOMER business specified objectives and/or set of user requirements established for that application, including appropriate security safeguards.
2. Provide ENOVIA and 3DExperience PLM technical and functional expertise on the platform and work with technology experts if there were to be any kind of requirements for transitioning to the latest platform.
3. Support the design and implementation of system application training manuals, providing training to engineers in the use of software and process releases.
4. Prepare data in support of customer and internal CUSTOMER reviews and audits associated with all program software applications.
5. Act as project lead leading ENOVIA and 3D Experience releases through CUSTOMER IT release process, while also providing project documentation.

Preferred Skills - Enovia V6R2013 Application L3 Support

1. Provide the expertise and effort for PLM infrastructure maintenance at an Expert Level, as directed by the PLM Application Owner.
2. Act as the Expert level point of contact for the CUSTOMER DWB L2 support relative to application features and application enhancement requirements.
3. When required, work with the software vendor support to resolve issues that require L4 support.
4. When required, work with the development resources and onsite L2 to test and deploy required sustaining bug fixes.
5. As requested, consult with the PLM Application Owner and collaborate on the architectural activities for the major and minor incidents, problems, and enhancements.
6. Troubleshoot application issues/behaviors and take appropriate actions.
7. Direct/influence L2 and L3 level resources to ensure Problem resolution.
8. Prepare documentation and guidance to empower the L2 resources to own and solve more DWB issues, offloading L3 to work more unique needs
9. Work to migrate as many systemic fixes to the L2 team or develop automations to abate the problems.

Enovia V6R2013 Application Owner

1. The PLM Application Owner is accountable for maximizing the value of the PLM system resulting from the work of the PLM Team. This role is also known as a "Product Owner" in industry.
2. The PLM Application Owner is also accountable for effective Product Backlog management, which includes:

1. 1. Developing and explicitly communicating the Product Goal;
   2. Creating and clearly communicating Product Backlog items;
   3. Ordering Product Backlog items; and,
   4. Ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible and understood.

1. The PLM Application Owner may do the above work or may delegate the responsibility to others. Regardless, the PLM Application Owner remains accountable.
2. For PLM Application Owner to succeed, the entire organization must respect their decisions. These decisions are visible in the content and ordering of the Product Backlog, and through the inspectable Increment at the Sprint Review.
3. The PLM Application Owner is one person, not a committee. The PLM Application Owner may represent the needs of many stakeholders in the Product Backlog. Those wanting to change the Product Backlog can do so by trying to convince the PLM Application Owner.
