You will also have the opportunity to work alongside the Director of Marketing and Director of Sales to implement communications strategies and ensure the department is providing exceptional customer service  In addition we will help sharpen your communication and organizational skills to develop a good understanding of customer management and marketing principles

Job Responsibilities of the Marketing and Communications Intern (% breakdown)

% Customer relationship management and administrative work

• Assist the sales team in maintaining customer relations and satisfaction through handling phone calls emailing and managing client accounts
  
• Maintain calendars and appointments
  
• Entering customer information into our CRM software
  
• Update spreadsheets and databases with statistical nonfinancial information
  
• Develop skills and understand how to handle objections and complaints
  

% Marketing projects and marketing analysis

• Assist in the organizing of promotional and company events and attend them to facilitate their success
  
• Draft and edit communications copy
  
• Assist in creating expansion campaigns to new markets
  
• SEO development and improvements to increase traffic to website
  
• Support the implementation of project and tasks on our marketing plan

Part time work ( hours per week) of training remotely begins in March/April
