This is an opportunity for a passionate marketeer to develop their skills as part of a growing and vibrant marketing team. You will support the Head of Brand and Digital Marketing and the Head of Events and Partnerships. You will be responsible for development and management of global brand assets, regional marketing plans and management of regional events. Your day-to-day role will involve working closely with the global marketing, commercial strategy and account management teams to deliver the global marketing strategy, helping us to deliver our strategic imperatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing annual plans for regional marketing activity in line with global marketing and commercial strategies using candidate/market insight

Brand Marketing

  • Acting as brand guardian supporting the correct use of our brand guidelines and tone of voice across all touchpoints
  • Managing global marketing assets, including creation of new assets to support account management and commercial strategy teams, to deliver on brand, on time and in budget.
  • Managing translation of marketing assets into other languages as needed
  • Managing global candidate survey analysis and support on customer surveys
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity in focus markets

Events and Partnerships

  • Managing WSET s presence at key regional events in line with global events processes and KPIs. Includes: developing masterclass content, managing logistics, securing and managing speakers and VIPs, managing suppliers in-market, ensuring compliance with local law with regard to use of alcoholic samples and data capture, and post-event review
  • Supporting the development and execution of global WSET-owned events (such as Graduation, Events Hub activity and Global APP Summit) for maximum regional impact
  • Reviewing and managing existing regional marketing partnerships alongside identifying and agreeing new partnerships in line with the regional plan and the global marketing strategy

Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing including brand and events management
  • IDM/CIM qualification in marketing or equivalent
  • Experience of briefing and managing design agencies
  • Proficiency in using design software (ideally Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud), email marketing platforms (ideally Dot Digital), Google Analytics, CRM platforms (ideally Microsoft Dynamics) and Survey Monkey/Customer Voice
  • Experience in working in APAC, EMEA and US markets
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent copy-writing skills
  • Exceptional written and spoken communications skills
