We are seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer to support a civil engineering company in Portsmouth, NH.
This is a hybrid role and limited relocation assistance is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support projects throughout the New England area as well as clients and firms nationwide.
- Support diverse projects involving vertical construction and other related Civil Engineering tasks in commercial, industrial, and Federal markets.
- Provide engineering and design responsibilities for multiple projects ranging in construction value from $100k to $100M.
- Mentor junior engineers and supervision of sub-consultants such as fire protection, surveyors, geotechnical engineers, and environmental engineers
Requirements
Education:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering
Required:
- 5 years of relevant work experience at A-E consulting firm, manufacturing firm or construction firm
- Hands on with CAD and BIM software including Autodesk (Civil 3D ), HydroCAD
- Licensed Professional Civil Engineer
- Knowledgeable of Federal/DoD design standards and guides
- Public presentation capabilities
- Experienced in industry design standards (e.g., LID) and adept at leading innovation.
- Familiar with current planning/zoning standards and industry codes (IBC, ASCE, ASTM, ANSI, etc.).
- Understanding of Environmental, Architecture, Structural, and MEP engineering disciplines.
Preferred:
- Revit experience
- Ability to obtain license in multiple states nationwide.
- Ability to obtain security clearance at active U.S. DoD installations nationwide.
