Commercial Construction Traveling Field Engineer - Nationwide
Can Reside Anywhere in the US
60K - 80K Salary Plus Expenses
National leader in renovation, infrastructure improvements, new construction, sustainable initiatives, and emergency services for facility owners is looking for a Construction Superintendent with commercial or industrial experience to join their team. This position requires heavy travel to construction sites throughout the US.
Scope of Responsibility:
Oversees the operations of construction sites, from planning to completion. Responsible for the performance of all subcontractors ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- 1 - 3 years experience in the construction industry with a commercial general contractor
- Experience with estimating, design, and scheduling software desired
- Experience with blueprint reading a plus, but not required
- Adapt to the constantly evolving world of technology, design, means, and methods; systems may include MS Office suite, ProCOre, Adobe, and Bluebeam
- Must be able to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with people of various backgrounds and styles
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to frequent changes and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, to include clear, concise and professional presentation of information
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field desired
