• Design and develop simulations using NS2 to model network behavior and evaluate network performance
  
• Write efficient and effective code to meet project requirements
  
• Debug and fix code to resolve errors and improve performance
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network architects, engineers, and quality assurance specialists
  
• Keep up-to-date with new features, tools, and best practices in NS2 programming
  
• Write technical documentation, including user manuals and help files
  
• Test simulations and verify their functionality
  
• Develop algorithms for network analysis and performance evaluation
  
• Develop graphical user interfaces for simulations
  
• Maintain and improve existing codebase

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
  
• Strong knowledge of NS2 programming and simulation methodologies
  
• Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns
  
• Familiarity with software development life cycle, version control systems, and testing methodologies
  
• Ability to write clear and efficient code and debug complex software systems
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
  
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
