Restoration and Mitigation company is looking for a Production Manager to join their team.
The production manager oversees all aspects of assigned restoration projects and assigned production crews. Their responsibilities are centered around customer satisfaction, revenue growth, profit growth, management development, and staff development. This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence. The Production Manager will likely be at job sites at least 75% of the time and 25% at the office writing estimates, scheduling, etc.

The Production Manager will likely be at job sites at least 75% of the time and 25% at the office writing estimates, scheduling, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Provide directions to crew chief and technicians of how to best use labor. Including checking in on jobsite periodically when at the office to ensure others are completing required duties. When others are not producing work to coach or to dismiss them from work as needed.
- Manage the customer & client experience and overall customer satisfaction to include frequent updates to key participants.
- Provide priority response to potential customers.
- Serve as the first point of contact for when technicians and crew chiefs need support.
- Develop scope of work for projects and write estimates into Xactimate as needed.
- Keep the calendar in Google up to date with time spent on jobs and upcoming scheduling jobs.
- Follow up with any previously sent quotes that have not been sold as jobs yet.
- Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate.
- Document and/or review job file to support the services provided.
- Manage production expenses.
- Manage equipment and materials (assets).
- Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
- Perform all labor services the company offers: Mold/Water/Fire/Cleaning/Construction to both residential and commercial customers.
- Train production personnel.
- Manage production personnel.
- Continued development of leadership and management skills, as well as restoration expertise.
- Other tasks/duties as required by the employer.
Experience and Skill Set:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction/restoration.
- Minimum 1 year management and/or supervisory experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and management skills.
- Strong communication skills, oral and written.
- Experience in restoration required.
Formal Education/Training:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Current industry certifications strongly preferred in IICRC.
