Senior Interior Designer

Are you creative and have a flair for decorating and using color?


A leader in their industry is seeking a Senior Interior Designer who is creative in decorating color, furniture, fixtures, and planning layout space. In this exciting role, you will create drawings, presentations, and cost estimates. The role will manage other designers and collaborate with other departments related to the client's needs.


Responsibilities:

Create architectural concepts for interior projects for many projects including furniture and equipment planning, special design concepts and requirements, floor plan analysis, condition of the building site, personal property, integrated structural components, mechanical and electrical, and visual design concepts, including material.

Collaborates with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to understand project requirements and goals.

Oversees and manage multiple projects at once and following timelines and budgets.

Supervises and provides mentorship to junior designers, fostering their professional growth.

Select colors/finishes/materials, performs site surveys, and maintains resource materials and research interior products.

Applies established interior design standards.

Conduct site visits to assess progress, resolve design issues, and provide guidance to the project team.

Write proposals and prepare aids such as finish boards and PowerPoint presentations as needed.

Creates interior design specifications, calculations, and works with industry standards.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in an accredited Interiors Design Program

5+ years Interior Design experience, preferably in a senior role.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, InDesign, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.

NCIDQ designation required.

Licensing is a plus but not required.

Ability to operate well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Excellent communication and presentation skills along with time management.

Proficient in all Microsoft Programs.
