Senior Mechanical Designer

Perform project work related to Mechanical design. This would include working in 3D models, laying out pipe, designing pipe supports, working with structural on platforms, stairs, etc. Helping all disciplines place equipment in model.Cutting 2D views from model for all disciplines. Work will require coordination with other disciplines, designers, and engineers.

• Coordinate mechanical design effort
• Visit sites for 3D scanning and review meetings, as required
• Perform 3D modeling using Plant 3D and other software.
• Develop 2D drawings in AutoCAD, from 3D model
• Perform checking activities when needed
• Assist with estimating new project work, when needed.
• Site construction support could be a possibility, but would be discussed in advance.
