The regional head of IT role is to provide vision and leadership for developing and supporting regional initiatives. This individual oversees the IT operations of our manufacturing facility responsible for ensuring that our factory's IT infrastructure, systems, and applications are secure, reliable, and meet business needs. Lead a team of IT professionals to deliver high-quality services and solutions that support the manufacturing and region processes. The head of IT directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems, and business operations within the region and its factories.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the factory's IT strategy and plans that align with the organization's overall IT strategy and goals.
  • Manage the day-to-day IT activities in the factories.
  • Develop and implement regional IT strategies and plans that align with the organization's overall IT strategy and goals.
  • Manage and monitor the performance of the regional IT team to ensure that service delivery meets or exceeds agreed service levels and KPIs.
  • Ensure that the IT infrastructure, systems, and applications are secure, reliable, and meet business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of IT operations and services, and make recommendations for changes.
  • Manage the regional IT budget, ensuring that expenditures are in line with the agreed budget and are used effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their IT requirements and to develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging IT trends and technologies, and assess their potential impact on the organization's IT strategy.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, and ensure that they deliver quality services and solutions.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the regional IT team, and develop their skills and capabilities.

Requirements :

  • Good knowledge of IT for OT and manufacturing processes.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services and solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, and the ability to manage and optimize them.
  • Experience in managing a regional or multi-site IT team, with a focus on service delivery and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve their goals.
  • Experience in budget management and financial planning, with the ability to manage resources effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
  • Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, and CISSP are desirable.

FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE

At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The pay range for this position in Texas at the start of employment is expected to be between $190K - $235K. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. However, base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
