PROJECT MANAGER CORE BANKING

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including project planning, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Lead cross-functional project teams consisting of internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and clients, to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met on-time and within budget.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define project requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Conduct regular project status meetings with project team members, stakeholders, and executive leadership to provide updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Utilize project management methodologies and tools to ensure project success, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
• Manage project budgets, track project financials, and produce regular project status reports for executive leadership.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the financial services sector.
• Deep understanding of core banking systems and the Temenos platform.
• Experience managing complex, multi-faceted projects with large financial institutions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile are preferred but not required.
