CNC Lathe Machinist 2nd Shift

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines (Horizontal and/or Vertical).
  
• Verify tool lengths (including: setting of tool geometries and offsets).
  
• Set up and change fixtures, clamp fixtures and clamps as
  
• Load and unload fixtures using overhead cranes, slings, chains
  
• Adjustment of
  
• Produce conforming first piece products to process drawing and quality
  
• Achieve specified quality
  
• Hold tight tolerances on large 28 + parts
  
• Proficiently use a variety of manual gauges which includes but not limited to swing gauges, callipers and OD
  
• Conform to specified health and safety
  
• Report any issues or problems to Supervision
  
• Work within the designated workgroup to plan, prioritize and perform work to satisfy customer and company needs
  
• Carry out daily TPM activities as required
  
• Provide guidance and assistance to other team members as needed
  
• Execute a Zero Defects & Right First time
  
• Propose Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvements to
  
• Provide Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA)
  
• Ensure parts are handled and protected in a suitable manner to prevent damage during operations and
  
• Comply with any other guidelines as defined in the Employee
  
• Comply with company housekeeping
  
• Adhere to company EH & S
  
• To perform other such duties as generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
  
• 5 + years of CNC experience, 2+ years in Lathe/VTL experience
  
• Knowledge in Fanuc and OSP controls
