CNC Milling Machinist

• Set up and operate CNC Milling machines in a safe, appropriate and efficient
  
• Load and set tools and work holding
  
• Write programs on the controller or offline with CAM
  
• Load and send programs between machine and
  
• Recognize, understand and properly adjust dull or chipped
  
• Able to adjust work offsets, tool wear lengths and cutter
  
• Modify tools and work
  
• Edit and understand G & M code
  
• Must produce parts within required
  
• Follows all company policies, procedures, and work
  
• Follows work order instructions, blueprint reading and geometric
  
• Operate more than one machine when cycle time
  
• Responsible for taking care of routine machine maintenance and keeping work area in neat
  

Requirements

• High school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma
  
• Two (2) years of satisfactory experience in a related position, five (5) years preferred
  
• Understands blueprints, job travelers, work instructions, program and tooling sheets, tooling specifications, quality documents and familiar with GD&
  
• Use of inspection hand
  
• Strong math skills including algebra, geometry, basic trigonometry
  
• Strong working knowledge with work holding, cutting tools, grinding wheels and shop
  
• Ability to plan, program, setup and run production based on engineering drawings and related
  
• Familiarity with Mastercam and SolidWorks or similar CAD/CAM software a plus
  
• Ability to follow quality plans and the proper use, care and calibration of inspection tooling and equipmen
  
• Experience with hard milling a
