Powelson Consulting is looking for a seasoned Production Supervisor on a 12-hour Night Shift rotation for a local Oxford, NC The Production Supervisor will work a 12 hour fixed schedule and will be responsible for providing daily direction to up to 35 staff in the extruder, pressing, and finishing In this role you can expect to:

• Collaborate with plant leadership teams to ensure alignment with strategic intentions in an effort to ensure a safe work environment, environmental conformance/compliance, cost management, while providing superior quality products and services to continually improve customer satisfaction managed through a systematic
  
• Lead team performance and provide feedback to hourly teammates in the major areas of accountability, to include safety, quality, environment, people, cost and
  
• Provide a positive teammate relationship environment for plant
  
• Monitor and communicate results of department key performance indicators to ensure plant and organizational long-term Provide day-to-day leadership and direction for the hourly
  
• Manage continuous improvement activities utilizing Standards Driven Process and
  
• Develop and launch leaders, utilizing the multi-skilled work force and job certification system to ensure bench strength and growth within the
  

Requirements:

Similiar Supervisory Experience

Stable Work History, Strong Work Ethic & Acumen

Experience with Rubber (pressing/extruding/mixing) strongly preferred
