Role Summary for the Healthcare Assistant:
A Healthcare Assistant, or HCA cares for patients in a hospital, residential care facility or a patients home. Their duties include assisting patients with daily activities, checking vital signs and assisting nursing staff when necessary. Giving personal care including infection prevention and control, food, personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety.
The Healthcare Assistant reports to the Director or the line manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing health care services in a variety of settings, including an emergency room, clinic or hospital. The right person will be familiar with the local area, have a high standard of personal hygiene and enjoy helping others. This role also involves cleaning and maintaining medical equipment, and the ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills as well as a keen eye for detail.
Qualifications / Experience
Have demonstrable and successful experience of working successfully in healthcare setups.
