Our client is the leading provider of niche tutors in the UK market. They are establishing a Cape Town back office where the main focus will be to grow consultant sales and recruitment targets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment

Responsible for the tutor recruitment team and their targets

Identification and response planning to recruitment needs across the company

Using social media to attract candidates

Recruitment and on-boarding of our full-time employed tutors

Increase the quality of tuition, from the perspective of the tutor quality

o Not limited to development of interview and compliance systems, training and development opportunities, resources.

Working closely with the account managers to pass on quality issues.

Arranging training sessions and conferences for tutors in conjunction with education and industry leaders

Leading on candidate-led sales initiatives including CV s spec out, tutor trial days


Sales / Account Management

  • Develop, monitor and maintain our main key areas of business:

i. Primary and secondary tuition (Schools)

  • Set and monitor individual performance of in-branch staff including setting and monitoring weekly KPIs and ensure accurate reporting of figures.
  • Contribute to quality the writing of business deals, proposals, tenders and supplier agreements, negotiate rates and fees.
  • Collate focus lists for consultants
  • Maintain competitive awareness and conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for business development and generate leads.
  • Client meetings (larger schools) online - develop client relations.
  • Implement and monitor marketing strategies
  • Develop effective action plans, set termly aims
  • Termly forecasting.


Staff management

  • Monitor and review staff performance and achievement on a regular basis including annual appraisals and review of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Develop and deliver structured training plan for staff.
  • Hold meetings; discuss task delegation, review issues, monitor sick leave and attendance, reprimand, praise and discipline staff.
  • Set weekly, termly and annual targets and objectives.
  • Set inter-branch and in branch motivational tasks, team building and bonding initiatives.
  • Branch communication communicate with all team members across all branches on a regular basis.
  • Set out of term time tasks and targets for consultants.
  • Interview and recruit branch staff along with MD, induction of new recruits, staff training, 1:1 training and meetings, coaching and support and objective setting
  • Continuous professional development and effective Performance Management


Other

  • Timely liaison with director regarding performance issues and remedial actions
  • Resource branch effectively including leave and succession planning, recruitment and selection.
  • Discipline staff in line with disciplinary procedures.
  • Liaise with and accounts to ensure the branch meets targets on all financial indicators i.e. Payroll, and timesheets.
  • General adherence to policies and procedures
  • Attend management meetings
  • Any other duties as required


Requirements

  • Experience within the education sector is essential
  • 3 - 5 years experience as a team manager
  • Tech savvy
  • Social media savvy
  • Sales driven
  • Experienced in working with children
  • Back ground in Recruitment advantageous
  • Ability to travel to the UK for training





Benefits

R50k CTC negotiable depending on experience.
