We have an exciting opportunity for a Project & Service Automation Engineer based in the northern part of Sweden (Pite -Skellefte -Ume area) to join a dynamic team working on various projects and services.
What will you be doing? You will configure and service Quality Control Systems in the Sheet Manufacturing / Paper Manufacturing industries, working with Honeywell Experion MX QCS control systems and similar legacy systems You will perform system troubleshooting, preventative & corrective maintenance, system configuration & implementation, hardware, and software upgrades, power-on support, schematic support, point building, consulting, and application programming with the support of our highly experienced QCS teams.
Newly graduated or less than 3 years graduated.
Degree in engineering (mechatronics, computer science & mechanical) and/or equivalent relevant experience in the paper industry in QCS, CWS, CD actuator, Camera systems Hardware & Software or sensor technology.
You may have some experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer-based process control systems, or you can be a fresh graduate ready to take the first step in your career.
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid Driving license.
Willingness to travel within Sweden and on occasion Norway
Position requires, when trained, to be on call 24/7 within a rota and be flexible in day-to-day work responding to last-minute breakdowns and callouts.
Ability to speak and write in Swedish & English
Strong technical skills with a proven ability to solve problems
Strong motivation to deliver excellent customer service
