Location: Atlanta(Onsite)

Pay Rate: $75

-- ***All contractors will have to be based in Atlanta metro area on-site in ATL is now REQUIRED***
-- Candidates MUJST be willing and able to complete 3 round of interviews --- 2 internal interviews (including a coding challenge!!!) and a final round end-client interview
-- We need 3 iOS and 3 Android developers hired and in seats by 1/9/2023, so we need a vigorous recruitment push from all vendors over the next week
-- These positions are ALL Contract-To-Hire (CTH) the plan is to bring all 6 developers on FTE at some point in the future.
-- All suppliers MUST provide the vendor evaluation form (excel doc) for each candidate they submit. This is very much needed to ensure the supplier is also doing the due diligence and not just throwing the candidates over the wall, per the hiring managers

Requirements & Skills
1. Proven working experience in Android app development for more than 5+ years
2. Proven software development experience and Android skills development
3. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
4. Have published at least one original Android app
5. Experience with Android SDK
6. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
7. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
8. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
9. Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
10. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
11. Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
12. Knack for benchmarking and optimization
13. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git or SVN)
14. Familiarity with continuous integration

Responsibilities
1. Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
3. Work with outside data sources and APIs
4. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
5. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
6. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
