Job Title: Production Planner III
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Plymouth, MN (This position would be in the office 4-5 days per week until the person is acclimated. At that point, working remote 2-3 days per week may be possible. )
Contract Duration: 11 months
Work Hours: 8AM - 5PM

Job Flexibility:
- This position would be in the office 4-5 days per week until the person is acclimated. At that point, working remote 2-3 days per week may be possible.
- Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of Supply Planning experience (5+ years ideal)
- SAP experience: Highly desired (if no SAP experience, the candidate will need strong experience in other similar ERP systems)

Position Summary
Position Summary
- The position is responsible for maximizing product availability while optimizing inventory over the long term planning horizon.
- Position will influence members of finance, R&D, marketing, customer service, and other members of the supply chain enterprise to create strategies for network optimization and inventory.
- Manages supply risks and uncertainty, and plans mitigations to respond to dynamic business conditions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maximize customer experience through product availability.
- Work with regional Planning partners to efficiently manage inventory levels, and system signals.
- Partner with Production Planning and Operations to review inventory assess inventory needs and own production volume/change requests (increases/decreases) to Operations monitor gaps, highlight risks, etc.
- Collaborate and implement inventory management strategies to effectively manage through constrained inventory scenarios.
- Continuously monitor and assess inventory risk.
- Participate in product launches/phase outs (and associated part number transitions/inventory management initiatives).
- Collaborate with business units & external third party providers to identify and document key assumptions that could impact the supply network and develop strategies for efficient response to changes.
- Develops tools to test the cost, flexibility and efficiency of the network.
