As the Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) on the Platform, Technology and Tools (PTT) team, you will focus on assessing and improving the observability of the TELUS Developer platform and our applications. This critical role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on the entire TELUS Digital ecosystem and offers significant independence.



Requirements

  • Audit current monitoring and work with applications teams to improve Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) & other metrics
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Open Telemetry under the guidance of the Principal Architect
  • Improve post-incident review and embody a blameless review culture
  • Help teams define and measure SLI/SLOs for their applications
  • Contribute your subject matter expertise to the evolution of the reliability and SRE program, including both leadership and engineering practices
  • The role will have limited operational responsibilities
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the broader Site Reliability & Observability teams in other departments in TELUS
