Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d)

Our infrastructure team is on a dedicated mission to ensure excellence in our Infrastructure landscape, provide first class operations and empower feature teams when it comes to (cloud) infrastructure. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you would join our team to create a future-ready, stable and scalable infrastructure at xChange. You ll work closely with our Infrastructure Lead as well as our Tech and Product teams to craft strategy, enable everyone to work independently, and adjust the infrastructure to secure products with the highest quality possible.

What you ll do

• You will design and build our Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
• You will design, build and improve monitoring and logging infrastructure
• You will organize and execute database operations
• You will be the hands-on consultant for our Software Engineering teams that supports building and testing pipelines
• You will be an expert and a go-to person for all cloud infrastructure and ops concerns
• You will work in a very self-organized environment/team

Requirements

What you bring along

• You have a few years of experience in a Cloud, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering position

• You have a proactive and practical approach and are passionate about developing secure, stable and scalable infrastructures

• You are a great communicator (in English) who builds collaborative relationships easily and enjoys working in a team

• Ideally you have experience with the following technologies:

  • Cloud providers (AWS)
  • IaC (Terraform)
  • Containers/Kubernetes
  • Monitoring Infrastructure (e.g., Datadog)
  • Databases (e.g. Maria DB)
  • DevOps pipelines tooling (e.g. Bitbucket, Jenkins)
  • GitOps
