This position Collects, consolidates and analyzes financial data from various general ledger systems used at our domestic and international manufacturing sites and other sources required for both internal and external purposes, including SEC reporting. Prepares various financial statements and supplemental schedules for both internal and external reporting. Prepares various journal entries and reconciliations to support proper financial statements. Research accounting rules and regulations, in addition to gathering data on other public companies for comparison purposes. Acts as liaison between various departments within the Company, manufacturing site controllers and accounting staff around the globe, and external auditors to ensure the timely issuance of high-quality financial statements.
Responsibilities:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA required, or combination of education and experience as approved by executive management. 3-4 years of public accounting experience or financial reporting experience in a corporate accounting team preferred.
Demonstrated accounting and financial reporting expertise
Knowledge of internal controls and SOX requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Excel including performing financial and analytical computations.
Familiarity with financial consolidation and reporting software tools (TM1, Hyperion HFM, etc.).
Familiarity with SEC reporting software tools (DFIN ActiveDisclosure, Workiva, etc.).
Familiarity with general ledger accounting software tools (Infor products preferred).
Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
