Nursery Supervisor (m/w/d), Copenhagen

As a Nursery Supervisor, you are working in our Infarm Growing Centre in Greve, where we produce plants at scale using our vertical farming techniques. You ideally have some experience of working in an industrial manufacturing environment and in our Nursery teams. You are well organized and reliable, able to understand and follow clear processes and instructions, and like being hands-on with your day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising the team on the production line
  • Reporting Line to Leads or IGC Management
  • Operate an automated Seeding, Transplanting or Packaging line which enables Infarm s plants to grow from seed into finished products
  • Define and follow workflows and production schedules to ensure daily volume requirements are met to our high standards of quality
  • Control line settings within agreed and trained parameters to produce each product
  • Be responsible for Sales Orders and KPI reports
  • Ensure that quality standards are adhered to at all times
  • Carry out the accurate recording of production line information for reporting purposes
  • Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following Hygiene, Health and Safety guidelines
  • Be part of a world-class production team, ensuring the delivery of high standard produce to our clients with minimal food waste.

Requirements

  • Leadership and decision-making skills
  • Working knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with other departments
  • Technology savvy: ability to generate and manage reports
  • Strong attention to detail and a good eye for cleanliness and hygiene
  • Confident and comfortable working alone as well as part of a team
  • Experience working in a labor-intensive industrial manufacturing role, an advantage
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Experience and a basic technical understanding of the operation of automated food packaging lines is a big plus
  • Valid working visa
