Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer

Must be an experienced & skilled NX and Team Center user, 6 - 12 Month project,

Job function includes but not limited to

• Create designs and generate engineering drawings for all aspects of high-speed rotating machinery products. Able to establish interfaces with other components and aircraft structures, Co-ordinate with multiple customers and establish priorities, Understands the mechanics of how critical components fit together.
• Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc. May be involved in the discussion of fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
• An intermediate to advanced level of GD&T Y14.5-2009 and up is required.
• A basic to intermediate level of understanding of materials selection is required.
• An intermediate level of tolerance stack-up analysis is required.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May report to an executive or a manager.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
