THE TEAM
As part of the Finance Team you are responsible to lead all payroll and related accounting processes. Next to this position TM s Finance Team includes Accountants, Controllers and the Event Settlement
team.
THE JOB
This position will work cooperatively with all colleagues in the Finance Department Germany is responsible to manage, prepare and control the entire internal and external payroll run process with close cooperation with the local HR manager and the external payroll provider and any
other internal and external stakeholders in payroll-related topics.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Prepare, review and approve monthly preparations of payroll-informations to be submitted to external payroll provider for Ticketmaster Germany and Austria
Responsible to manage all contacts to social security agencies (Krankenkassen, Sozialversicherungen), tax-authorities and any other payroll related external stakeholders
Consulting team-leads and managers in all areas of payroll related topics, such as tax, social securities and benefits together with HR manager, external payroll-provider and tax-advisors
Contact-persons for Finance Director, Teamlead Acccounting for all payroll and other accounting issues
Cooperating in account reconciliations within month-end- and annual closing processes
Liaise with tax-advisors and auditors in any upcoming tax-field or other audits
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the FD or Teamlead Accounting
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
Multiple year experience in payroll and accounting
Successfully completed studies in the area of payroll administration and accounting or similar qualifications.
Really good German and English skills
Must be hands on, able to multi-task and show proper level of time management
Strong system skills with advanced Excel and MS Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both in a team and independently with little supervision
A strong analytical background
High attention to detail
Solid Communication skills
Must be reliable, open-minded and punctual
Problem-solve and investigate reconciling variances
