KC is looking for a Digital Transformation (Training) to support the Mill Training Coordinator and the Training 4 Excellence Leader. They will deliver multimedia design and instructional programming to support training across the mill. They will lead and organize training improvements and programs to allow the mill to progress and the company to succeed.

This is a 12 month contract role.

Responsibilities:

Design, program and implement a Training Tracker, labour scheduling tool, automated training reports and visuals and a training adherence report
Optimize workflows to reduce paperwork and administration by utilizing software applications and workflows
Work with the Asset Teams to create a standard JES template and process then work to update the JES utilizing designated trainer support
Use applications and workflows to automate training panel notifications and scheduling
Design programs to digitize training tests for all training requirements, across the mill.
Design a system for plotting and scheduling training plans
Work with the team and other sites to determine how to better utilize UofH or to implement new systems such as POKA, ETQ, document storage
Collaborate with asset teams, OPEX change agents, Mill Training Coordinator, outside vendors, other KCNA training core teams and other mills to develop new training plans, address training gaps, work on ongoing improvements, and create new training initiatives
Attend meetings such as Mill T4E Core Team meetings, OPEX diagnostic reports, OPEX TIP, Tier 2/Tier 3, etc. to find new ways to improve and implement healthy change
Lead and participate in meetings to create vision and guide teams to create positive impacts on the business
Support and influence change, build trust, motivate others, establish team consensus, and drive full-potential thinking
Requirements:

Certificate or Degree in Multimedia Design, Instructional Design, Programming and workflow or related field
Must have Advanced computer skills, working knowledge of applications, tools to support a digital work environment; Full knowledge, experience with all of Microsoft Suite of products (TEAMS-Applications, Power BI etc.)
Strong skills and knowledge working with multiple social media platforms and digital media
Experience in applying action learning and adult learning principles, E-learning knowledge and application in development programs
Adopt a growth mindset with a mission and passion to continuously improvement preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and at all levels
Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct detailed analysis of information, and to create and deliver best solutions
Possess self-motivation with strong drive and initiative, strong operational discipline with strict adherence to standards, and ability to hold self and others accountable
Be able to give and receive feedback in a constructive, and professional manner with a positive attitude
